ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • To guarantee the implementation of a quality policy ensuring the operability, maintainability, reliability and safety of the new production facilities.
  • To ensure integration of the new equipment or facilities in the existing Field.
  • To cover all production related topics within projects, including process and flow assurance studies if any.
JOB DIMENSIONS Field development will involve several new projects executed in parallel over a period of 5 years with CAPEX investment of around 3.5 Billion USD. The Major Projects consist of:
  • Multiple new wellhead platforms including bridges and tie-ins to existing platforms and remote WHPs
  • New Central Processing Complex (comprising Central Production Platform, Riser Platform and Flare Tower) bridge-linked to existing facilities
  • Pipelines global network: existing pipeline replacement for integrity and debottlenecking
The candidate will work transversely with Project Teams and Field Operations Team and shall have sufficient experience and operational knowledge to make recommendations to Projects.

ACTIVITIES HSEQ Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that HSE is given the highest priority
  • Support and enforce the Project HSEQ management system
  • Promote HSEQ awareness at all workforce levels
  • Monitor work activities and ensure risks are properly identified and assessed
During Project Phases (FEED / Basic Engineering / EPCIC):
  • Support updates of Operating Philosophies, Manuals and Procedures
  • Participate in HAZOPs and Risk Assessments
  • Anticipate production impact and recommend mitigations
  • Interface with Commissioning Manager and Site Teams
  • Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, PRs, JRA
  • Support operability/maintainability studies and 3D model reviews
  • Support development of Operating Procedures
  • Identify and develop training for Field Operations stakeholders
  • Represent Project FOPS at FAT for critical equipment
  • Ensure design basis alignment with existing field bottlenecks
  • Lead/support site Operations Teams during installation and commissioning
  • Contribute to Handover philosophy
  • Prepare Return of Experience (REX)
CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
  • Development of new offshore platforms, subsea pipelines and debottlenecking activities
  • Execution across several international sites
  • Multiple projects handled in parallel
  • Position based in Doha (FEED phase) with possible assignment to EPCC sites and offshore if required
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • BSc in Engineering discipline
  • 5–10 years’ experience in Production Operations and Projects
  • Field Operations background required
  • Familiar with Production, Process and Flow Assurance Engineering
  • Familiar with company standards and relevant codes
  • Fluent English
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Experience working in complex, multicultural environments
  • Available for frequent missions to contractor and vendor sites
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET training
