Responsibilities of Post:

  • Communicate, co-ordinate and supervise users of the facility in respect of project liaison, and operational issues/requirements.
  • Allocation of berths and project areas at our clients facilities.
  • Coordinate with the HSEQ team to ensure safe running throughout the operation.
  • Supervise the Operations Team or other designated persons as required.
  • Deputise for the Operations Manager as required.
  • To act as Facility Security Officer, supervising security operations, and liaising with relevant authorities.
  • Support the provision of services for cruise operations
  • In association with the management team, arrange and administer rental of office and undercover storage space in order to ensure maximum utilisation.
  • Ensuring scheduled charges are applied in relation to cargo-materials passing through the port area and for storage allocation.
  • Liaise with facility users and arrange for additional services as may be required.
  • In conjunction with the Admin/Finance Department, maintain records and documentation to aid prompt invoicing of customer accounts, including the measurement of customer storage.
  • Maintain such records and documentation as is required to ensure company policies and procedures are administered and maintained.
  • To undertake and supervise vessel/rig moorings, receipt/delivery of fuel and water and other general maintenance duties as required.
  • Supervise and assess competency of personnel.
  • To understand the tasks of the Facilities Supervisor and supervise the maintenance team as required.
  • To assist the management team with matters pertaining to oil spill response and in particular the provision and maintenance of in-house equipment.
  • To participate in the duty call out system on a rota basis with the Facilities Supervisor and Operations Manager.
  • Other duties as required from time to time in order to meet the needs of the business
