Our client is a North Sea operator client currently recruiting for the position of Operations & Maintenance Electrical Technician, based in Aberdeen. This is a core crew staff role on a 2/3 rotation. 
 
Responsibilities:
 
Operations & Electrical Duties
  • Conduct routine equipment checks, inspections, and first -line maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor hydrocarbon production and utility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Once appointed RPE, take responsibility for the safe execution of all onboard electrical work.
  • Conduct fault -finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting under challenging conditions.
 
Maintenance Delivery
  • Execute corrective and preventive maintenance in line with schedules.
  • Use SAP to manage maintenance activities and ensure compliance with company procedures.
 
Safety & Emergency Response
  • Participate in the installation’s Emergency Response Team.
  • Demonstrate strong safety leadership in electrical, operations and maintenance spheres
 
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Trade Qualification or an HNC / appropriate experience in the Electrical discipline (equivalent NVQ level 3)
  • Minimum AEP or RPE/SAEP competence
  • Experienced SAP user in the ME process
  • Experience with Utility, Generation & Hydrocarbon systems
  • Preferred FPSO experience
