Service Description
Activities
The job holder is responsible, within the QAQC Team and under the QAQC Manager for following-up, monitoring and supervising QA & QC Civil Works activities carried out by EARLY WORKS Contractor and Subcontractor at the Construction site, ensuring that his discipline’s contractual and technical requirements are duly applied by ONSHORE EARLY WORKS Contractor and/or his Subcontractors.
In this respect, and to ascertain that the facilities are built as per the project requirements, the job holder verifies:
Contractor’s and/or Subcontractors’ drawings, fabrication procedures and methodologies, and ensure that Contractor and/or his Subcontractors have adequate equipment, resources, means and manpower to perform the job with the required quality level and to compete it in due time.
Reports on a daily basis directly to the ONSHORE EARLY WORKS COMPANY Construction Manager. The job holder is in continuous liaison with and reports to the COMPANY QA/QC Manager, enforcing decisions/directions taken at Management level.
The job holder organizes and participates to routine and random inspections and audits, assists to daily / regular Construction meetings related to his discipline with EARLY WORKS Contractor and/or Subcontractors, performs QA/QC and/or HSE visits and tours... and ensures an adequate reporting to the Company EARLY WORKS Construction Manager (areas of concerns, problems encountered in its discipline during construction and implementation both by COMPANY Construction Team and EARLY WORKS Contractor and/or his Subcontractors).
The Job holder participates together with his supervision team to the review and comments of EARLY WORKS Contractor’s and/or Subcontractors’ Project Site documentation applicable in the perimeter of the relevant ONSHORE Construction site (Project Site QA/QC plan, EARLY WORKS Contractor procedures, Construction plans, ITP, Test reports …) and ensures their full implementation by EARLY WORKS Contractor and/or his Subcontractors.
As a general manner, the job holder provides assistance to the COMPANY EARLY WORKS Construction team with all matters related to his discipline.
The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating, individually, exemplary behavior regarding HSE rules & requirements.
Context and environment
The project aims at supplying natural gas for both domestic market and for international export market via the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP). Condensate is routed to Sangachal Terminal for stabilization.
Accountabilities
This position is starting at the end of the FEED phase and Pre FID for the ONSHORE EARLY WORKS phase activities.
The job holder shall be responsible for the supervision and coordination of all activities related to EARLY WORKS QAQC activities for project during the EARLY WORKS phase.
The job holder will perform this work in accordance with Project procedures , Project rules and guidelines.
Qualifications/Experience required
Professional Experience (years): min 10 years’ Experience in O&G QA/QC civil works activities on large scale international projects
Experience in similar position (years): mini 7 in similar role, background with General Specifications
Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent (Civil degree engineering or equivalent certification will be a plus)
• Languages: English mandatory
