Online Surveyor – USA

Our client is a world leader in the highly specialised fields of dredging, solutions for the offshore energy market, infra marine and environmental works.

Responsibilities

As an Online Surveyor you’ll support the team with advanced remote surveying and data collection efforts for the company's projects.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities
• Responsible for online survey activities on board our offshore vessels.
• Collect data from multiple survey sensors and monitor all positioning systems on board the offshore vessel.
• Assist with the administration related to daily activities and calibrations.
• Assist in the preparation of survey as-built deliverables.
• Report to the offshore survey Party Chief, who oversees daily survey operations on board the vessel.

Technical profile requirements  
• +7 years’ experience as a surveyor in marine or construction environments. 
• Strong knowledge of hydrographic survey techniques and equipment. 
• Experience with offshore navigation and positioning systems.
• Additional experience with subsea acoustic positioning systems and multibeam.

Non-Technical profile requirements   
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities. 
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate results. 
• Willingness to work in various locations and adapt to project-specific requirements 
• Fluent speaking and writing English, proficiency in other languages is a major plus.

Must Have Certifications / Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.

• GWO - Sea Survival
• GWO - Working at heights
• SCC Leader / VCA VOL certificate

Visa requirements:
Must be US Citizen or contractor holding US VISA B1 OCS WIND
