Job Description

  • Offshore Materials Coordinator assist the Drilling Supervisor in the planning, scheduling and delivery of all materials,
  • rental services and contractor personnel to well site to meet operational requirements.

  • The primary responsibilities of the Offshore Materials Coordinator are:
  • Identify equipment and personnel requirements for all aspects of well operations (drilling, completion,
  • well testing, and abandonment) including rental equipment, mud and cement consumables, etc.
  • Raise Drilling Material Call‐offs
  • Update and maintain the materials inventory system at the Rig site
  • Manage supply vessel requirements, raise all backload manifests and ensure all materials are correctly
  • containerized and secured for backload
  • Manage decks in conjunction with Crane Operators
  • Liaise with Logistics personnel, offshore deck crew and supply vessels and planning offloading and back
  • loading supply boats
  • Prepare documentation for dangerous goods declarations, radio‐active sources, lifting appliances and
  • waste for sea and air transportation
  • Prepare helicopter/Crew change boat seat reservations
  • Update daily equipment and personnel lookaheads
  • Maintain rental register and ensure all third party materials taken off‐hire at the earliest opportunity
  • Support for maintaining and track daily well costs
  • Organizes and participates in regular Inventory/stock checks at all locations where stock is held
  • (including third party storage) at the Rig site
  • Reports to Senior Materials Coordinator to maintain Company Inventory

Personal Specification

  • Bachelor degree Engineering discipline degree would be an asset
  • Experience in a similar role: In‐depth knowledge of Drilling/Completion/Work over Accounting ‐
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience
  • Good understanding of drilling/completion equipment's
  • Knowledge/understanding of stock, inventory control and management
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Rig site and Office personnel
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement
