Field Services Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Process Engineer with a strong background in
chemical or process engineering to provide operational and technical support for
offshore membrane package plants, primarily focused on Seawater Reverse Osmosis
(SWRO) and Sulphate Removal Package (SRP) systems on our FPSO vessel. The
successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing these
systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site operational and technical support for SWRO and SRP systems on
the FPSO vessel.
• Monitor, analyse, and optimise the performance of membrane package plants to
ensure efficient and reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to water treatment processes
and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for
membrane systems.
• Conduct cleaning of membranes in accordance with recommended guidelines
or onshore MOC’s.
• Conduct regular inspections and performance evaluations of water treatment
equipment.
• Prepare technical reports, including operational data analysis, performance
trends, and improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with onshore technical teams to develop and implement process
improvements and new technologies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and
company policies.
• Provide training and technical guidance to offshore personnel on water
treatment systems operation and maintenance.
• Participate in project planning and execution for system upgrades or
modifications and maintenance regimes.
• Contribute to the development of technical support services to maintain a
competitive edge in the offshore water treatment sector.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in
offshore water treatment.
• Experience with PTW systems and operate to the customers system procedures.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related
field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore oil and gas operations, preferably
on FPSO vessels.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, particularly SWRO and SRP
systems.
• Experience with membrane technologies and their applications in offshore
environments.
• Familiarity with process control systems, instrumentation, and data analysis
tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work
effectively in a multicultural team environment.
• Willingness to work offshore for extended periods (typical rotation: 4 weeks on, 4
weeks off).
• Valid offshore safety and survival certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET).
• Proficiency in Google suite and relevant engineering software.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional engineering certification (e.g., PE, CEng).
• Experience with other water treatment technologies used in offshore
applications.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., NORSOK, API, ISO).
