Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Offshore Facilities Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Ensure that all relevant activities are carried out safely and in accordance with Statutory regulations, Company Safety Management System and procedures.
Manage and control the activities of the Construction and Fabric Maintenance Teams in a cost effective and efficient manner.
Support the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that safety critical system maintenance is executed in a manner that secures fitness for purpose.
Co-ordinate the planning and implementation of major project workscopes i.e. those that fall outwith planned facilities scopes.
Provide input on platform equipment and systems to ensure that the required performance is maintained or enhanced in order to secure the safety and/or commercial objectives of the asset.
Contribute to maintaining safe working environment by undertaking audits within ISSOW.
Provide positive leadership encouraging teams and team members to be a part of, and to contribute to the objectives of the organisation.
Liaison with external bodies, vendors, contractors and specialists either directly or as a result of activities supervised by sub-contractors

Operational direction to onshore and offshore management
Management of day to day issues and troubleshooting when required
Supervisory skills to include leadership ,direction, delegation, coaching, mentoring and performance evaluation
Project Management, planning and scheduling
Safety, Health and Environmental Management Systems
Performance Management, audit and investigation
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Commercial and financial awareness
Computer Literate, MS Packages, presentation, planning and database systems

Ideally hold a relevant degree (or equivalent qualification) and be working towards Chartered Status.
Proven experience on fixed and floating installations.
