Offshore Construction Site Representative

We are seeking an experienced Offshore CSR (Construction Site Representative) to oversee offshore construction, hook-up, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities on a major offshore development project. The successful candidate will act as the Company's representative offshore, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all assigned works.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction & Execution
  • Represent the Company offshore during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure contractor readiness, including manpower, procedures, equipment, and work fronts.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety performance.
  • Review and validate work packs and job cards prior to execution.
  • Coordinate and supervise offshore activities in accordance with project priorities.
Permit to Work & Worksite Control
  • Manage Permit to Work (PTW) activities within assigned areas.
  • Ensure compliance with PTW procedures and safe work practices.
  • Coordinate simultaneous activities and resolve worksite conflicts.
  • Stop unsafe or non-compliant activities when necessary.
HSE Leadership
  • Promote a strong safety culture and adherence to Life Saving Rules.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and safety meetings.
  • Ensure risk assessments and method statements are effectively implemented.
  • Monitor contractor HSE performance and drive corrective actions.
Coordination & Interfaces
  • Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and completion teams.
  • Participate in daily offshore coordination meetings.
  • Resolve multidisciplinary interface issues and SIMOPS challenges.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and coordinate company supervision personnel offshore.
  • Provide technical guidance and HSE support.
  • Support decision-making and issue resolution on site.
Progress Monitoring
  • Monitor project progress against schedule.
  • Identify risks, delays, and deviations.
  • Review contractor reports and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree, HND, or equivalent in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of offshore oil & gas experience.
  • Strong background in offshore construction, hook-up, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
  • Proven experience in PTW Coordination and Control of Work.
  • Experience working on EPC/EPCIC projects.
  • Familiarity with offshore SIMOPS environments.
  • Knowledge of international offshore construction standards and specifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work offshore rotations.
