Great opportunity to work for a global renewable energy company as an O&M Wind Technician on a 4 month contract starting in May 2021.

Description:

  • O&M duties on 3.6MW Siemens WTG
  • Working with WTG servicing teams
  • Working with WTG trouble shooting teams
  • Working on WTG retrofit projects.
  • Able to work safely and competently on mechanical and electrical systems associated with an offshore WTG.
  • Also please notice that the hours per rotation is on average 84 - shift pattern 7x12 hours shifts, 7/7.

Requirements:

  • Have the ability to work safely at all times and abide by all relevant processes and procedures
  • Must be trained and competent as an offshore windfarm Technician, Authorised to L5 Maint Tech under WTSR.
  • Experienced in O&M duties on Siemens 3.6MW WTGs.
  • Must hold all relevant GWO certificates for offshore works including medical with Chester step test.
  • To work as part of a team and have hands-on mentality and be able to work with, and adhere to, written procedures.
  • Must have extensive Technical skill associated with WTGs and have extensive knowledge of the offshore wind industry.
  • The candidate should bring their own PPE. The request is that they provide their own workwear and harness/climbing equipment as required for the role, which should be fit for purpose and in date.
