Location: Mettawa, IL
Pay Rate: $43/hour
Contract Length: 6 months (ASAP start)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Work Model: 100% Onsite

Orion Group is seeking a Training Specialist III (National Field Trainer) to join our pharmaceutical client's Commercial Training organization supporting the Immunology franchise.
This role is ideal for a high-performing commercial professional with experience in pharmaceutical sales, product training, and field development. You will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful training programs that strengthen field execution, elevate selling skills, and support brand strategy.
This is a high-visibility role within Commercial Operations with the opportunity to influence field readiness and performance nationwide. Due to business demand and elevated training volume, this role was created as an increase in workload to support strategic brand initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging product and skill-based training for field sales teams
- Facilitate live and classroom training sessions and brand workshops
- Translate brand strategy into actionable field execution through learning programs
- Deliver coaching and real-time performance feedback to trainees
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Leadership, CT&D, and Operations partners
- Support National Sales Meetings, POA meetings, and new hire onboarding
- Manage multiple training projects and timelines in a fast-paced, matrixed setting
- Ensure all training content is compliant and aligned with commercial strategy
The ideal candidate will have:
- Immunology sales experience (required)
- Training experience – District Trainer, Field Trainer, or Marketing Training support
- Strong facilitation/presentation skills
- Experience partnering with Marketing or Brand Teams
- Project management and cross-functional collaboration experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years pharmaceutical field sales experience minimum
- Prior trainer rotation experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and strategic thinking ability
