MIEC Inspection Engineer 1

Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Inspection Engineer to support a major Ruya MIEC project in Qatar.
The role focuses on ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and QA/QC procedures across construction and installation phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection activities in line with approved ITPs and QC procedures
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project specs and codes (API, ASME, ISO)
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and client representatives
• Review and verify inspection reports and documentation
• Witness testing, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities
• Identify non-conformances and ensure proper close-out
• Support audits and quality surveillance programs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Metallurgical preferred)
• 8–15 years of inspection experience in oil & gas / petrochemical projects
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards and inspection methodologies
• Certifications (CSWIP, BGAS, NACE, or equivalent) preferred
• Experience in large-scale EPC or offshore/onshore projects
• Strong reporting and stakeholder communication skills
