Orion Group Life Sciences are recruiting for a Medical Affairs Assistant for our Multinational Pharmaceutical client based in the Buckinghamshire area on an initial 8-month part-time contract.


Job Purpose

  • ReCAp superuser SOP coordinator
  • Experience in clinical research a benefit
  • Recap is the approval system used to review and approve all clinical activities. The system requires administrative support to maintain user details and support training
  • Global SOPs require coordination and local implementation documents to be implemented. A single point of contact is required in the EMEA region to perform this role

Main Activities/Tasks:

  • Administrator for ReCAP in EMEA region: ensuring all user permissions are maintained
  • May perform initial reviews for completeness prior to review by regional reviewer
  • Acts as point of contact for all process or system related issues
  • Facilitates regional system training
  • Reassigns problem concepts if required at local level
  • Document deviations

SOP Coordinator

  • Act as single point of contact for Global SOPs that require review and implementation
  • Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders for the local implementation of SOPs related to Medical Affairs activities and its documentation in Local Implementation Memo's/Impact Assessment Forms and Deviation Memos..

Essential Knowledge & Skills:

  • A knowledge of clinical research is a benefit
  • Understanding of development of SOPs
  • Able to operate in a matrix environment
