Objective of Position:

To perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and plant modification on the platform equipment in a safe and cost effective manner to ensure the facilities are available to meet production target.

Direct Functions:
(List of tasks, actions and processes performed by the employee holding this position and within his/her sphere of personal responsibility - not involving continuous participation by colleagues, line manager and / or subordinates)

- To perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and plant modification on the platform equipment in a safe and cost effective manner to ensure the facilities are available to meet production targets. Namely mechanical equipment, pump, valve, actuator, air compressor, hydraulic system, diesel engine, Gas compressor, Gas turbine…
- Responsible for ensuring that the quality of the work conforms to all relevant specifications and standards and that the work is performed according to applicable procedures and instructions.
- Responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out in a safe and environmentally manner.
- Responsible for inspections of all contractors' equipment prior to its use on site.
- Fully conversant with the Work Control System.
- React quickly and effectively to breakdown situations while maintaining a high level of safety performance.
- Provide high quality planned maintenance, which contributes towards high plant reliability and availability.
- Adapt to changing priorities and integrate with other disciplines create an effective team.
- Record results adequately in the computer based maintenance management system.
- Assist operations where disciplines overlap to provide an overall efficient maintenance service.
- Provide supervision for contract and vendor staff on procedures, safe working practices, and permit guidance and in depth plant familiarity.
- Maintain accurate shift logs and handover of all activities.
- Ensure all hazards, faults and problems are recorded and solved or reported to the Supervisor.
- Maintain own skills by training and contribute to the training of other team members and new staff.
- Maintain well housekeeping at all times.
- Liaise on a regular basis with the Operations Supervisor advising on spares and material requirements.
- Maintain and update drawings, records, reports, and procedures as required.
- Assist in preparation of quality work packs for identified nomination and maintenance activities.
- Participate the additional tasks as banks man, helideck crew…
- Participate in the Emergency Response organization according to the Emergency Response Plan.
- Support Operations Supervisor in assigned tasks.Complete tasks assigned by line manager within own competence
- Strictly comply with Company's Policy on Combatting Corruption and all relevant procedures of Company in Vietnam in the implementation of the Policy

Joint Functions:
(List of tasks, actions and processes within the area of responsibility of a specific team (department, group
etc.), i.e. that are performed through continuous interaction with colleagues, immediate superior and/or
- Maintenance crane, lifeboats with LMS, Electrical team
- Team investigation/troubleshooting for equipment faults with LMS, Electrical team, Instrument team, Production team
- Team working on modification tasks
- Working with onshore support team to investigate/troubleshooting fault; modification work, create/review/revise procedures

With which Company subdivisions and external organizations is continuous interaction required to perform
the main functions of this position?:
- Contact with Manufacturer of equipment: Solar, Caterpillar, etc., for maintenance issues
- Contact with Manufacturer, retailer for materials.

Regulation of Activities:
International, state and corporate regulations, standards, terms of reference, instructions and rules that must
be followed when performing the work:
- National regulations, standards
- Company code of conduct, standards, instructions

Job Requirements:

- Diploma in Mechanical engineering

- Good understanding of basic science and technology
- Understanding in Control of Work procedure and requirements
- Good understanding of machinery-tools and mechanical equipment used on platform, diesel engines, pumps, motors…
- Extensive hands-on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating equipment, piping and pressure vessels.
- Good understanding Solar Gas turbine.
- Good fault finding skills.
- Understanding of the process facilities.
- Formally trained of Emergency Response as the ERT.
- Formally trained for Banks man and Slinger and Coxswain of Lifeboats.
- Good communication skills towards platform personnel and third parties
- Good reporting skills
- Good numerical skill

- IELTS 5.0 or equivalent

- 4 years of working experience in Oil & Gas industry in related roles
