We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor – Rotating Equipment to support maintenance operations within a major industrial facility in Qatar.
The successful candidate will supervise rotating equipment maintenance activities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while maintaining high standards of HSE and equipment integrity.

The successful candidate will supervise rotating equipment maintenance activities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while maintaining high standards of HSE and equipment integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities for rotating equipment.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee fabrication, repair, overhaul, and maintenance of rotating mechanical assets.
- Ensure equipment reliability, plant availability, and compliance with HSE and quality standards.
- Review and improve maintenance procedures and work processes.
- Coordinate maintenance activities across assigned shift operations.
- Lead maintenance teams, contractors, and technicians to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize maintenance strategies and improve equipment performance.
- Technical Diploma required; Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with:
- Centrifugal and reciprocating compressors
- Steam and gas turbines
- Centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
- Fans, blowers, gearboxes, and mixers
- Knowledge of:
- Preventive and predictive maintenance
- Precision alignment
- Vibration analysis
- Dynamic balancing
- Bearing replacement
- Mechanical seals
- Lubrication systems
- Experience using CMMS systems; SAP PM experience is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, supervision, coaching, and team management skills.
