 Master Data Analyst II – Access Control
Onsite in North Chicago, IL
6+ month initial contract
Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30PM
Hourly Pay Rate: $47-50/hr (individual medical benefits available at a cost)
 
The Data Clean Up Specialist in Access Control is responsible for identifying, correcting, and streamlining user and system access control data in multiple systems.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, audit, and clean access control data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify inconsistencies or duplicates and implement efficient solutions for data integrity.
  • Work with IT/security teams to validate user permissions and remediate outdated or excess access.
  • Generate reports and dashboards on data clean-up progress and issues.
  • Auditing access logs
  • Alignment of data between multiple systems
  • Detecting inconsistencies or outdated entries
  • Removing obsolete accounts or permissions
  • Ensuring access records are up-to-date
  • Supporting compliance by preparing accurate documentation.
  • The role often requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with access control tools like Active Directory, and a solid understanding of security best practices to maintain data integrity and minimize access risks.
Recommended Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in: Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field experience.
Recommended Experience:
  • 2+ years’ experience with data analysis, preferably in access control or IT security environments.
  • Proficiency with data management tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, or similar).
  • Experience with access management systems (e.g., Active Directory, Genetec, Lennel or similar platforms) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
