Orion Group Sciences have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Communications Specialist for our multinational medical client based in the Berkshire area on an initial 3-month contract.

Leads the development of communication materials such as: brochures, presentations, speeches, trade advertisements, videos and marketing communications. Applies extensive experience with Photoshop, graphics, PowerPoint, internet/web. Conducts extensive research on the internet. Continually enhances existing tools and develops/introduces new tools and resources. Partners with the public relations agencies to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget; tracks results against objectives. Develops consistent image, visual identity guidelines and trademarks, and customizes marketing materials for advertising, promotions and conferences. Measures the effectiveness of communications programs.

  • Expertise in core healthcare communications disciplines, including medical education and marketing strategy and a high level of understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice and Health Care Compliance.
  • Strong technical competencies relevant to public relations which include media relations, internal communications, brand and corporate communications, advocacy partnerships and issues management.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific data into communications materials
  • Knowledge of a range of therapy areas
  • Expertise in new models of communication including development and management of social media channels, digital landscape analysis and strategic social media engagement.

Essential

  • Requires 4-6 Years Work Experience
  • University/ Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • High level of understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice and Health Care Compliance.
