About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Senior Engineering Specialist – ICSS to lead and manage all engineering maintenance activities for integrated control and safety systems in a major LNG production facility. The successful candidate will ensure technical integrity, optimal availability of equipment, and efficiency of maintenance operations while fostering a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the ICSS Engineering Specialist team, including mentoring and development of national staff.
- Review, implement, and update preventive maintenance plans, schedules, procedures, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Oversee coordination of ICSS maintenance activities, contractor services, and technical work scopes.
- Provide expert guidance for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, reliability improvement, and cost-effective maintenance.
- Ensure availability of spares and materials, monitor key performance indicators, and produce monthly performance reports.
- Participate in technical reviews, risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Implement ICSS modification proposals in line with change management procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Control Systems, Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering. Functional Safety certification is an asset.
- Minimum 20 years’ maintenance experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical industries, including 10 years in LNG production.
- Proven experience with DCS, PLC, industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, HART, Ethernet), process instrumentation, and IIOT/cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of international codes, instrumented safety systems, and maintenance systems (e.g., CMMS/SAP).
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills in English.
