Our client has a permanent requirement for a Maintenance Engineer to be based in Saudi Arabia.

Duties & Responsibilities
Utilize SAP as planning software for day to day activity and shall be familiar with all planning and scheduling stages and requirements.
Assist the line Maintenance organizations in the implementation of approved programs by furnishing information, technical support in trouble shooting, authoritative interpretation, analyzing and progress reports.
Lead a team which is responsible for field-wide planning and scheduling as well as the execution of all major Turnarounds and Inspections (T&l).
Assist the line Maintenance organizations in the implementation of approved programs considering that assigned work will be on facilities, plant and equipment representing substantially greater capital investment, and also it will be more complex in terms of processes and products involved and more critical in terms of potential hazards or loss of income from crude and product sales that could result from excessive interruption to plant operations.
Maintenance Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering shall study electrical modifications to oil processing and oil handling facilities, and utilities. Provide technical support on electrical equipment trouble shooting and repair requirements. Serves as a technical consultant to subordinate Maintenance Digital System Engineers on complex systems/ circuit diagram and maintenance/ repair problems.
Carry out daily routine maintenance, online corrective maintenance of various field instruments and systems.
Calibration, maintain, monitor and repair of field instruments such as level, flow, pressure, temperature transmitter, control valve, on/off valve, solenoid valve, switches, DCS (ex: Honeywell…etc.), Vibration Monitoring Systems, ESD, Analyzers, MOVs, Gas Detection Systems, Fire Systems in oil refineries, petrochemical plants and / or hydrocarbon industries.
Perform fault diagnosis on digital-data processing equipment down to printed-circuit board level by use of proprietary diagnostic programs and assembly and/or machine-language routines, common and specialized test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, simulators, etc.
Troubleshoot, repair and test digital-data processing equipment down to either printed circuit board or, in some instances, discrete component level. Includes microprocessors, 4-D converters and sophisticated digital switching systems. Performs as a crew leader as required.
Work with Operations and Operations Engineering to solve related system problems.
Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with plant instruction manuals.
Maintains local stock of expendable materials and frequently-used or critical spare parts
