Maintenance Delivery Lead
Our operator client is currently recruiting for the position of Maintenance Delivery Lead. This is a long-term PAYE contract role based in Aberdeen. Hybrid working is available (4 days office based and 1 day working from home).
Responsible for the coordination and delivery of asset maintenance and services-based activities.
Operationally responsible for the repairs function and processes which encompasses the reporting and auditing of the repairs process
Develop insource maintenance strategies (includes training, competence and specialist tooling)
In addition, this position will be the owner of the CMMS and drive improvements and efficiencies within the CMMS
Deliver and develop maintenance optimisation and improvement strategies for the asset
Maximise maintenance delivery lifecycles to support mid/late life operations
Identify, assess and exploit opportunities to improve the current efficiency of maintenance effectiveness.
Responsible for the delivery of PSV and Valve maintenance including repairs, recertifications and new supply.
Onshore reliability engineer and maintenance scheduler reports to Maintenance Delivery Lead
POSITION SUMMARY
The incumbent draws on own technical/professional knowledge and experience to identify and improve functional systems, procedures, policies and practices
Lead CMMS improvements and develop maintenance strategies in line with safety case and industry best practice
Develop strong internal relationships across operational and support functions in order to support the business
Responsible for delivering maintenance as per SECE requirements
Own all maintenance related KPI’s
Develop, deliver and maintain spares strategies for critical equipment.
Valve maintenance
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations
Responsible for providing maintenance support to the operations team
Responsible for safe, productive and reliable maintenance execution
Responsible for implementing maintenance improvements including maintenance processes and procedures
Responsible for compliance with the Safety Case and all relevant legislation relating to offshore operations
Responsible for long, medium- and short-term maintenance planning and delivery
Accountable for delivery of key operational contracts in operations and maintenance area
Maintenance
Responsible for delivery of maintenance and inspection work execution and achievement of maintenance KPI’s
Responsible for implementation of maintenance and reliability programs and driving continuous improvement.
Budgetary
Responsible for operating expenditure and management in relevant budget area
Supply Chain and Logistics
Responsible for effective management of key contractors and ensuring provision of adequate asset support through effective contract delivery performance
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL INTERFACES
Interface with Production Optimization, Supply Chain, Logistics, Drilling and Wells teams
Interface with HSE Executive and BEIS as required
Interface with JV Partners
REQUIRED COMPETENCES/ QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / PROFILE
Relevant university degree or experience at a senior level within an oil and gas operator
Strong HSEQ leadership qualities
Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, CMMS, MRP’s and maintenance strategies in line with best industry practice
Experience in offshore supervisory/ managerial role beneficial- Maintenance Supervisor/Production Supervisor
Background in Electrical, Instrument, Mechanical, Process Engineering
Direct experience in maintenance processes, planning, execution and service delivery contract management
Experience in shutdown or turnaround management and delivery beneficial
Experience in operational readiness, handover acceptance and start-up of new production facilities beneficial
Adaptable approach in order to ensure operations are supported on a continuous basis
