Maintenance CMIMS Engineer

Orion is supporting a major LNG producing asset in Mozambique in the recruitment of a Maintenance CMIMS Engineer to join the Maintenance organisation.

This role is responsible for managing all CMIMS (Computerized Maintenance Inspection Management System) activities across the plant to ensure efficient maintenance execution and the technical integrity and availability of equipment.

The position reports to the Maintenance Head of Methods and Engineering.

Role Purpose To manage and optimise the use of the CMIMS system (SAP PM/MM modules) across the LNG plant, ensuring data integrity, effective preventive maintenance planning, accurate reporting and alignment with company maintenance policies 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the use of the CMIMS Preventive Maintenance module to ensure optimal system functionality and data integrity 
  
  
• Review, maintain and update the CMIMS database in line with Company policy 
  
  
• Upload and validate maintenance service data
• Extract and analyse data for KPIs, OPEX tracking, preventive maintenance follow-up and spare parts monitoring 
  
  
• Adjust preventive maintenance plan dates and frequencies based on approved change requests 
  
  
• Ensure proper reporting of planned and unplanned interventions across departments 
  
  
• Review and update master data as advised by technical disciplines 
  
  
• Lead communication regarding CMIMS upgrades and system changes 
  
  
• Supervise scheduling coherence for maintenance-related change requests 
  
  
• Provide one-to-one user training on CMIMS system usage 
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of SAP MM & PM modules (CMIMS) 
  
  
• Strong understanding of equipment installed in LNG plants (electrical, instrumentation, mechanical equipment) 
  
  
• Strong computer systems capability
• Excellent written and spoken English 
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) 
  
  
• Minimum 15 years maintenance experience in oil, gas or petrochemical industries 
  
  
• Minimum 7 years experience in LNG producing plants (not LNG terminals) 
  
  
• Minimum 7 years hands-on experience with SAP PM module (CMIMS)
