Activities
The job holder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSE rules & requirements, with regards to the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and for implementing and controlling these rules and requirements within his area of responsibility.
The job holder responsibilities are:
Performing first line maintenance, troubleshooting when Maintenance team is not on duty
Manage, supervise and execute maintenance and inspection as well as support activities 24/7.
Lead and co-ordinates the maintenance and inspection operations
Manage the Maintenance and Inspection Services contracts in place for offshore operations by dealing with resident maintenance and Inspection issues in timely way working with maintenance staff
Provide assistance for the operations, supervise the site Maintenance and Inspection Services and conduct proper follow-through on all maintenance and inspection issues.
Prepares technical failure and investigation reports
Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance and inspection or repair tasks, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Informs the persons concerned, by appropriate reporting, on the progress of maintenance and inspection operations and, if necessary, of difficulties encountered.
Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance and inspection personnel, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Takes part in different daily, weekly and site co-ordination meetings
Assist with site environmental conformance as well as hazardous material programs.
Ensure to maintain adequate inventories of tools, supplies and parts to accurately repair all equipment.
Ensure to keep cleanliness at shop and storage areas as well as well-stocked, organized following company colour coded program.
Inspect regularly machinery with respect to safety issues inclusive but not restricted to ground and trip hazards, non-functioning lights, broken pieces along with exposed wiring.
Participate in maintenance and inspection employees’ schedules as per forecasted workloads.
Perform with maintenance and inspection employees along with other technical personnel to develop proactive and effective team working together to attain set objectives.
Investigate and implement new technologies or methods to improve maintenance and inspection efficiency, asset integrity and reduce environmental impact.
Managing and coordinating the interfaces with Azneft counterparts Playing a key role in emergency response and PTW processes
HSE Responsibilities

Exercise such caution as is necessary to avoid danger to persons and installations or to avoid pollution
Report any anomaly, abnormal conditions and near miss to Site Manager / RSES
Participate actively in and lead when required HSE meetings, safety talks, toolboxes, training sessions and drills
Ensure safety of personnel, environment protection, and the technical integrity of equipment’s in his/her domain of activities, implement HSE rules and follow procedures, and notify forthwith the responsible person
Authority to suspend activities when there is a potential or actual threat to human life, the installation or the environment, and notify forthwith the responsible supervisor

Accountabilities
DETAILED ACTIVITIES
Adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSE, to implement HSE rules.
Ensure Maintenance and Inspection activities in line with Maintenance and Inspection philosophy, standards and procedures for the EPS facilities.
Able to work in autonomy as first line maintenance to tackle maintenance issues on site
Ensure the maintenance procedures are up to date. Propose revision/improvement when necessary
Manage the Maintenance Services activities
Use CMIMS for maintenance PM & CM scheduling, activity reporting, spare part request and stock management modification when needed
Prepare PTW and all related documents for Maintenance Services activities as well as SMC activities
Ensures co-ordination between maintenance operations and Support team
Maintains a permanent anticipation on the potential problems that could occur in the production plant, in close relationship with Production, in order to prevent non-productive or non-efficient operations
Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within Production and maintenance Services teams
Ensures that the members of Maintenance Services team have the qualifications and skills required for the tasks entrusted to them and, if need be, suggests corrective measures.
Participate in toolbox talk prior starting any job and get feedback
Qualifications/Experience required
• Level / Diploma: Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma (HND (A-levels + 3 years’ study))
• Professional Background: more than 10 years of experience in Maintenance of oil & gas facilities including management positions on offshore sites.
• In-depth knowledge of :
o Maintenance of Oil & Gas Facilities,
o Management of Offshore facilities
• Proficient in using and troubleshooting industrial platforms such as:
• Rotating (compressors, pumps, fans, etc.) and static (vessels, heat exchangers, isolation and regulation valves) equipment
• Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD) and Fire & Gas Systems (F&G)
• Instrumentation
• Solid experience with:
• Instrument, electrical loop checking, calibration
• Preventive and Corrective maintenance planning and scheduling
• Field commissioning
• Condition Based Monitoring (vibration & lube oil analysis, thermography)
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (IEC, ISA, API, ISO)
• Strong knowledge and experience with CMMS platforms (SAP PM and MM)
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential for technical documentation, reporting, and offshore team coordination
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
