Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics & Freight Coordinator to join a major LNG bunkering development project based in Muscat, Oman.
This is an exciting opportunity to support a high-profile energy transition project, coordinating logistics and freight forwarding activities in support of operational and site teams during construction, commissioning, startup, and operations phases.
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international freight forwarding activities (air, sea, and land)
• Support logistics operations for the Sohar site from the Muscat office
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, transport providers, and suppliers
• Ensure timely shipment execution and resolve logistics delays or issues
• Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation including AWB, BL, invoices, and packing lists
• Coordinate material movements between suppliers, warehouses, and site
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with HSE standards and Oman regulations
• Support logistics reporting, KPI monitoring, and cost optimization initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or similar
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding
• Strong hands-on experience with customs clearance and freight forwarding processes
• Oil & Gas, LNG, petrochemical, or industrial project experience preferred
• Experience supporting operational or industrial sites
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
• Fluent Arabic and English language skills are essential

Desirable Experience

• Middle East project experience
• LNG or marine logistics exposure
• Experience working within lean operational environments
