Purpose:

To provide the development project team with logistics support during feasibility studies, basic design and execution, advising on transportation, import/export, storage, accommodation, and associated issues

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring technical and economical effectiveness of the logistic solutions suggested and coordinate Logistics, operation and Contractors regarding all logistics activities (Marine, Aviation, Materials management);
  • Ensuring the correct lifting ops following Company Procedures and the OGP best practices;
  • Preparing preliminary documentation for internal and external logistics projects;
  • Preparing logistics aspects of ITT documents;
  • Logistics technical evaluation of contractors bid;
  • Preparing logistics studies;
  • Preparing logistic technical guidelines and procedures;
  • Site scouting;
  • Ensuring that the marine activities at the base are carried-out, and ensuring that the vessels are consistent with the requirements of Operations;
  • Ensuring that the aviation activities at the helicopters base are carried-out, and ensuring that the helicopters are consistent with the requirements of Operations;
  • Monitor and respect of the Logistic Contracts;
  • Provide the contractors feedback.

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE):

  • Comply with rules and standards described in Company Policies, HSE Integrated Management System and Procedures;
  • Report all incidents;
  • Motivate colleagues to comply with HSE rules and standards;
  • Participate in HSE related initiatives ensuring the proper spreading and information within the department;
  • Ensure the compliance, within, the responsibilities, of contractors on company's HSE Standards, regulatory documents and any other process;
  • Contribute proactively to support company in reaching the HSE assigned objectives

Main Interfaces:

  • INTERNAL : Company Departments and Head Quarter Functions
  • EXTERNAL : Logistic Service Providers

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Vietnamese National with Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related fields;
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in logistics in Upstream Operations, preferably Drilling support activities and related materials, equipment and services;
  • Proven knowledge of HSE procedures applied to warehouse and lifting operations/equipment;
  • Good degree of computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English.

Working Conditions:

  • Time constraints, constant pressure to meet deadlines;
  • The resource will be based at HCMC with not regular rotations to Company's Da Nang Base during the preparation of Drilling Ops, Well Drilling and successive period of activities closure;
  • At the resource could be requested to carry out missions in other locations or projects; on Vietnamese territory or abroad where Company has other Business Units;
  • Working schedule is estimated from 07.00 am to 19.00 pm everyday on the operational period;
  • During Drilling Ops in case of urgent needs, could be requested to follow night operations.
