We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to work on the UK's first commercial scale LAES plant, based in South Manchester. The position is available as a hybrid working arrangement

Purpose:
  • Coordinate the collection, consolidation as appropriate, transportation and tracking of goods to designated arrival to ensure;
- Shipments prior to ROS date or agreed site schedule;
- Appropriate handling is to industry standards ensuring condition of goods on arrival at destination.
- The completeness and accuracy of Shipment Documentation and Files (Electronic and Hard Copy)

Key Activities:
The responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:
  • Assess and determine order of priorities on a daily basis with regard to developing project priorities.
  • Obtain details of cargo to be transported from Suppliers, HVP Engineering/QA
  • Generate Project MMT reports in Aveva ERM
  • Coordinate with Project FF on all day-to-day shipping activities.
  • Monitor FF MMT relevant transport bookings.
  • Review Suppliers packing and shipping documentation as appropriate
  • Monitor FF to ensure mobilisation times are met
  • Coordinate with FF and monitor shipment movements until arrival at destination
  • Keep Project Logistics Manager and Construction Management informed on project shipments via the FF Shipping Register
  • Review FF Invoices against FF agreed Contract rates for accuracy and formal approval.
  • Process information into the Aveva ERM system.
  • Cover other Project work as and when required.
  • Keep control of data entry/file closures in timely manner

Key skills and experience:
  • Familiar with UK transport and Government regulations.
  • Must have working knowledge and experience of Aveva ERM
  • Team player as well as work independently
  • Previous experience with Project Freight Forwarding
  • Experience with all Multimodal forms of transport
  • Experience with Dangerous Goods by air/road
  • Experience with Customs Documents
  • Familiar with Incoterms
  • Familiar with Import & Export documentation and compliance
