Position: Line up Operator
Position Info:
Work Location: Offshore Construction Vessel
Position Schedule: ASAP, 12 months
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Technical education;
Work Experience: Work experience in similar role within oil and gas industry
Knowledge of Languages: English (intermediate), Azerbaijani (fluent).
Other Skills/Certificates
Required:
• Capability to apply and promote safety, the safe working practices and environmental protection;
• Understanding of the correct use of Permit to Work system;
• Capability to promote the wear of the protective equipment;
• Capability to operate the line up station equipment, transferring cars and conveyors;
• Capability to operate the clamps in J Lay Tower Assembling Station;
• Search for opportunities to increase and improve own know-how and competencies. Curiosity and an
orientation for learning expected.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out all the pipe movements and the fit up operation on the prefabrication area, line up station
and the assembly of J lay tower station;
• Operate the equipment in a safe manner following the HSE procedures;
• Operate the pipe line conveyors and transfer cars in the Double Joint prefabrication area;
• Operate the clamps for the fit up in the J lay tower assembling station;
• Operate the support pipe rollers and transfer cars in the line up stations;
• Report any equipment malfunctioning to the mechanic department;
• Ensure that the green and red light are applied according with the work phases;
• Operate the ILUC and its winches;
• Participate in the Tool-Box Talks and Job Safety Analysis;
• Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the work place, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental
and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
