Job Purpose
Review and assure Project critical lifting scope.
Implement assurance programs of lifting safety within the Project, in compliance with company standards.
Provide feedback on areas of concern.
Assist in implementing Project rigging and lifting equipment integrity assurance program. Implement effective site observation and intervention program ensuring safe and effective execution of the Project lifting scope.
Key Job Accountabilities
Focal Point on the Lifting discipline for the MP/NFPS Projects, and MP Projects main focal point for the Operations Department on all lifting related matters (lifting equipment, personnel, and procedures) executed in brownfield.
Consolidate and manage a resilient assurance process for the MP/NFPS Projects execution in compliance with the MP Lifting Code of Practice (onshore/offshore).
Maintain and update the MP Lifting Code of Practice for the MP/NFPS Projects.
Interface with relevant internal/external stakeholders for optimization and harmonization of the lifting requirements.
Support PMTs on the lifting resources allocation, selection, and recruitment process. Formally endorse the recruitment of lifting resources within the MP/NFPS Projects (onshore).
Support PMTs on Risk Screening and Formal Risk Assessment related to critical lifting operations (greenfield and brownfield scopes).
Introduce and manage effective communications protocols to share relevant lessons learned and best practices for consistent implementation among MP/NFPS Projects Teams (lifting discipline).
Consolidate and standardize onboarding protocols for MP/NFPS Projects lifting resources with focus on compliance, consistency, and efficiency. 8. Maintain a robust reporting system for lifting operations within the MP/NFPS Projects. Identify trends and vulnerabilities, propose and implement mitigations and improvements across the MP/NFPS Projects organization. 9. Conducts risk-based evaluation of complex technical issues that may have significant impacts to overall project execution. Manages the timely delivery of technical deliverables and issues resolutions. 10. Promote Lifting Safety Leadership, by supporting Safety Culture and implementing best industry practices and initiatives, including extensive use of Life Saving Rules. Maintain a learning environment for turning lifting safety visions to improvements plans.
Qualification
OPITO - LOLER Competent Person
Knowledge and experience
10 years of experience in Lifting discipline and demonstrated experience in managing the lifting equipment & lifting operations compliance scopes (onshore).
Experience in lifting equipment and appliances inspections, certifications, and verifications.
Knowledge of International Standards (ASME, BS ISO, LOLER).
Knowledge of LNG Operating Standards & Procedures is advantageous.
Experience on establishing and managing compliance and assurance processes in accordance with corporate requirements and international standards (lifting discipline).
Experience as Lifting SME within Oil & Gas Operators organizations is preferable.
Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications.
