We currently have an opportunity for a Lifting Lead (Offshore) role. This position is based in Qatar offshore.

Minimum requirements
8 years’ experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
Extensive experience in lifting equipment and appliances inspections, certifications, and verifications. Broaden knowledge of lifting operations management.
Knowledge of International Standards (API, ASME, BS, DNV, ISO, LOLER) and experience in regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of company Operating Standards & Procedures is advantageous.
Experience on establishing and managing compliance and assurance processes in accordance with corporate requirements and international standards (lifting discipline).
Experience as Lifting SME, Technical Authority (Lifting Operations) within Oil & Gas Operators organizations is preferable.
MP & NFPS Project Focal Point for review, approval and execution of the Project lifting scope and support Project team with technical knowledge and expertise.
Implement robust and effective assurance process for the Lifting discipline within the Project, to ensure compliance and consistency to company standards and provide feedback on areas of concern.
Participate in review and update of MP & NFPS Lifting Standards and best practices.
Participate in HiPo Lifting Incident Investigations and support effective and timely implementation of additional mitigations and close out of actions.
Actively consult with the Operations Lifting Department (projects brownfield scope executions).
Multiple concurrent onshore/offshore project scopes at various stages of execution requiring adequate and consistent lifting operations controls.
Establish effective communication and strategic connection among critical stakeholders to identify and implement solutions in a timely manner.
Risk based evaluation of technical and lifting execution issues that may have significant safety and commercial impacts to overall projects execution.
Facilitate and support resolution-oriented communication among lifting operations stakeholders including contractors, third parties, certification authorities.
Strong commitment to Safety Leadership supported by extensive knowledge of safety protocols and best practices associated to the Lifting Operations (Onshore & Offshore).
Key Job Accountabilities
Safe, timely and effective execution of the Project scope.
Implementation and delivery of assurance program in compliance with the MP Lifting Code of Practice (onshore/offshore).
Communicate necessary feedback to update MP Lifting Code of Practice for the MP/NFPS Projects.
Participate in Risk Screening and Formal Risk Assessment related to critical lifting operations (greenfield and brownfield scopes).
Communicate and facilitate implementation of relevant lessons learned and best practices.
Maintain a robust reporting system for lifting operations.
Assist in resolving complex technical issues that may have significant impacts to overall project execution
Manages the timely delivery of technical deliverables and issues resolutions.
Promote Lifting Safety Leadership, by supporting Safety Culture and implementing best industry practices and initiatives, including extensive use of Life Saving Rules.
Maintain a learning environment for turning lifting safety visions to improvements plans.
