Learning & Development Partner
(6-Month Contract)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Opportunity

Are you a passionate L&D professional with a knack for instructional design and a drive for continuous learning?As a key member of the Talent & Learning team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing our global ‘Learning For All’ initiative. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our learning activities—analysing, designing, developing, and evaluating global programmes that empower our people to reach their full potential.This is a highly collaborative role where you will act as a consultant to technical SMEs and HR Business Partners, translating complex requirements into innovative, high-impact learning experiences.

Your Areas of Accountability
  • Performance Analysis: Identify learning needs across global Business Units and the Corporate Centre.
  • Design & Development: Create engaging blended learning programmes using the ADDIE framework and the 70-20-10 approach.
  • Digital Innovation: Champion our digital learning ecosystem by utilizing Articulate360, Synthesia, and external vendors to support learning "in the flow of work."
  • Facilitation: Deliver interactive sessions across both face-to-face and virtual environments.
  • Evaluation: Measure the effectiveness of learning interventions to provide data-driven insights and continuous improvement.
  • Ambassadorship: Actively promote learning opportunities across the organization, embedding Harbour Energy’s values and behaviours into all materials.
  • Project Support: Contribute to cross-functional Talent, Culture, and HR projects to support our broader global strategy.
Critical Skills & ExperienceWe are looking for a pro-active professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses:
  • Accreditation: Instructional Design accreditation and/or CIPD (or equivalent) in Talent/Learning.
  • L&D Expertise: Demonstrable experience in the full ADDIE process, with a specific strength in design, development, and evaluation strategies.
  • Technical Savvy: Hands-on experience with digital instructional design tools and a passion for the latest delivery practices.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage conflicting demands.
  • Facilitation: Strong confidence in facilitating sessions for diverse, global audiences.
  • Cultural Agility: The ability to interact effectively with a wide range of nationalities and professional backgrounds.
  • Safety & Ethics: A commitment to carrying out all activities in alignment with HSES procedures and Ethics & Compliance policies.
