About the Role:
This is a critical role within a major, multidisciplinary offshore development project (Blocks 20 & 21 in Angola). Initially based in France during the engineering phase, the position will transition to contractor premises during the FPSO execution phase. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery and operational readiness of the project's electrical systems, which are key to production efficiency and compliance with flaring policies.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery and operational readiness of the project's electrical systems, which are key to production efficiency and compliance with flaring policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the FOPS electrical authority and SECE guardian.
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ regulations and uphold corporate ethics and conduct standards.
- Develop, validate and optimise maintenance strategies, including spare parts and obsolescence management.
- Review technical documentation and support the commissioning and start-up of electrical systems.
- Provide expert advice on maintenance execution and ensure system reliability, availability and integrity throughout the life of the field.
- Serve as the main point of contact for electrical matters across FPSO, Subsea and O&M contracts.
- Minimum BAC +2 qualification; a degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years’ total professional experience, including:
- At least 12 years in the energy or oil & gas industry.
- Minimum 10 years in electrical engineering roles, with leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong expertise in high-voltage systems and HV drives.
- Previous experience within TotalEnergies projects and a sound knowledge of their referential is essential.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Experience in multidisciplinary project environments.
- Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g. CMIMS).
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with international teams and across complex interfaces.
