Are you a heavyweight Test Manager with a pedigree in complex trading, shipping, or logistics platforms?

We are seeking a high-caliber professional to spearhead the end-to-end testing strategy for a massive IMOS (Integrated Maritime Operations System) implementation.This isn't just a standard vendor rollout. You will be at the helm of a programme that integrates core IMOS functionality with bespoke, custom-built components, ensuring seamless execution across the entire freight and voyage lifecycle.

The RoleOperating at Programme Leadership level, you will be the ultimate authority on test outcomes and go-live readiness. You will act as a senior counterweight to delivery pressure, providing the evidence-based assurance required to give business sponsors the confidence to "Go".

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Governance: Define and own the programme-wide test strategy encompassing core configuration, custom builds, SIT, UAT, and non-functional testing.
  • Large-Scale UAT: Partner with vendor test managers (Veson) and business focals to lead UAT at scale across chartering, voyage execution, and freight economics.
  • Custom Build Assurance: Maintain a rigorous inventory of bespoke functionality, ensuring custom components that extend or override standard IMOS behavior are fully validated.
  • Integration Excellence: Own the testing of the full ecosystem, including CTRM/ETRM, financial settlement, and reporting integrations.
  • Risk & Defect Management: Oversee defect triage with a focus on material impacts to financial controls and operational execution.
  • Cutover & Go-Live: Provide the critical go/no-go recommendations and lead test input for cutover rehearsals and hypercare transition.
Your Profile
  • Proven Track Record: You have successfully managed testing for large, complex trading, logistics, or shipping programmes.
  • Domain Expertise: Extensive knowledge of freight/shipping operations is essential; prior experience with IMOS is highly preferred.
  • Technical Versatility: Demonstrated experience testing custom-built functionality alongside major vendor platforms.
  • Leadership & Influence: You possess the gravitas to manage senior stakeholders and the confidence to challenge designs from a risk and testability perspective.
  • Testing Rigor: Expert-level experience leading UAT, SIT, and non-functional testing across multiple business units and systems.
