Lab Tech responsibilities will include:
- Execute bacterial protein expression protocols using E. coli and other prokaryotic systems
- Aseptic technique and bacterial culture maintenance
- Proficiency in cell lysis methods (sonication, chemical, enzymatic) and protein extraction
- Perform protein analysis using SDS-PAGE and other analytical techniques
- Document all experimental procedures and results in ELN
- Maintain detailed laboratory records and standard operating procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for workflow troubleshooting
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
- BS/MS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field
- Bacterial protein expression & culture maintenance
- Cell lysis techniques
- Protein extraction, protein analysis (SDS-PAGE)
- experience with cell lysis methods (sonication, chemical, enzymatic)
