Onsite in Waco, TX
6+ month initial contract
Hourly Rate: $15-18/hr (individual medical benefits available at cost of $3/hr)
Hours: Shift will be 1st shift, Tuesday - Saturday 8am-4:30pm


Orion Group and our largest US client have an exciting contract opportunity for QC Lab Technicians in the Waco area!! We are seeking individuals with prior experience performing routine analytical testing to support quality control of pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate sample receipt and testing of samples and input data into computer application.
• Perform routine analytical testing to support quality control testing of pharmaceutical products. Some data interpretation required.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biochemistry or Associate’s degree
• 0-3+ years experience preferably in pharma/biotech.
• Experience with pharma/biotech quality control testing is preferred but not required.
• Have good laboratory skills - Experience in operating analytical equipment preferred (analytical balance, total carbon analyzer, spectrophotometer, pH meter).
• Should exhibit good problem solving skills.
• Should possess computer skills as well as good communication skills.
