IT/Network Technician (Onshore and Offshore)

Our Oil & Gas Major Client is seeking a number of IT/Network Technicians to be primarily onshore based but with occasional offshore trips (approximately 2-4 weeks per year).

Responsibilities will include:
Ensuring that IT systems, applications, and communication equipment are managed and maintained in accordance with documented processes, procedures, guidelines, and instructions. This includes maintaining responsibility for the design, specify, install, commission, maintain, manage, modify, troubleshoot and assess performance of Process Control Domain (PCD) security systems and networks while assuring the PCD assets perform to the required business integrity, availability, and confidentiality targets as defined via a risk based approach.
Ensuring that segregation of duties is implemented where possible and practical for authorisation and implementation of changes.
Planning, organisation, and quality assurance of IT security work.
Acting as, or delegating responsibility to act in the event of a PCD IT security incident.

Key experience desired:
Experience of Control and Monitoring Systems from an operations background
Highly experienced Microsoft Professional - working knowledge of checking and applying patches.
Experience of Cisco CCNA

Current Offshore Certification essential
