We are seeking an experienced IT Cyber Security Technician to oversee security patching on remote operating and maintenance systems based on and offshore. Candidates would be required to work offshore c6-8 weeks per annum and therefore hold a curent offshore survival and medical. Candidates should be experienced with Windows Server administration as well as networking skills GICSP and/or CCNA Industrial certifications are preferred along with control & automation experience. Immediate start role on a PAYE contract basis.

Candidates must have:
Current offshore medical and survival certification
Be experience in IACS

Responsibilities will include:
Ensuring that IT systems, applications, and communication equipment are managed and maintained in accordance with documented processes, procedures, guidelines, and instructions. This includes maintaining responsibility for design, specification, install, commission, maintain, manage, modify, troubleshoot and assess performance of IACS systems and networks while assuring the assets perform to the required business integrity, availability, and confidentiality targets as defined via a risk based approach.
Ensuring that segregation of duties is implemented where possible and practical for authorisation and implementation of changes.
Planning, organisation, and quality assurance of IT security work.
Acting as, or delegating responsibility to act in the event of an IACS security incident

Network design/implementation
Microsoft server platforms
Policy development/documentation
Experience with Fortinet
Knowledge of TCP/IP, including packet-level analysis
An understanding of network security, Firewall configuration, and Cisco systems
Microsoft's infrastructure/server products including: Window Server 2008 (Active Directory), Windows 2003 Server (Active Directory), Visio, and an understanding of how to configure TCP/IP 4 settings
Experience with the following technologies/platforms: UNIX, NT, and LAN/WAN, and system management tools
Experience with the following Backup and Recovery Technologies: Acronis B&R, Symantec B&R
