We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Invoice Controller to join a busy Finance & Business Services function supporting complex operational activities.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic international environment where accuracy, stakeholder management and commercial awareness are critical to ensuring effective financial governance and invoice control processes.
Role Overview
The Invoice Controller will play a key role in managing and validating invoicing activities, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, pricing structures and internal financial controls.
Working closely with internal departments, suppliers and operational stakeholders, the successful candidate will support efficient invoice processing while maintaining accuracy and delivering strong commercial oversight.

Role Overview

Working closely with internal departments, suppliers and operational stakeholders, the successful candidate will support efficient invoice processing while maintaining accuracy and delivering strong commercial oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify invoiced rates against contractual agreements and commercial quotations
- Review and validate hours submitted against onshore and offshore timesheets
- Ensure personnel are invoiced under the correct service categories
- Validate pricing and applicable rate schedules for spare parts
- Review and process third-party supplier invoices
- Manage and reconcile credit notes where required
- Route approved invoices to relevant budget and activity owners for final processing
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve invoicing queries and discrepancies
- Support accurate financial reporting and process compliance
Candidate Profile
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within invoice control, finance, accounting or a similar commercial environment
- Strong numerical and analytical capability
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement
