Job Title: Interface Engineer

Location: Milan, Italy

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Interface Engineer to manage and coordinate technical, operational, and contractual interfaces across complex oil & gas projects. The role ensures alignment and consistency between multiple engineering disciplines, contractors, and project packages, supporting seamless execution and avoiding scope gaps or overlaps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and manage internal and external interfaces across project packages and third parties.
  • Develop and maintain the Interface Management Plan and Interface Register.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interface meetings, agreements, and communications.
  • Ensure design consistency across interfacing scopes, including drawings, specifications, and tie-in points.
  • Track interface actions, risks, and close-out prior to mechanical completion and handover.
  • Monitor contractor interface processes and escalate unresolved issues as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Process, or related).
  • Oil & gas project experience, including interface management roles.
  • Experience in multi-package EPC/PMC projects (offshore, subsea, pipelines, onshore facilities).
  • Strong understanding of engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
  • Familiarity with interface management tools and document control systems.
  • Offshore experience and relevant HSE training preferred.
