Instrument Engineer (IC&T) – Network WellPads & Pipelines
Location: Dubai, UAE (Residential)
Duration: 12 months, with possible extension
Travel: Occasional missions to Iraq (up to 30 days per year)
We are currently looking for an experienced Instrument Engineer (IC&T) to join a major oil & gas development project supporting the delivery of Network WellPads and Pipelines infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong engineer to take ownership of Instrument, Control & Telecom engineering activities in a large-scale EPC environment, working alongside multidisciplinary teams in an international setting.

We are currently looking for an experienced Instrument Engineer (IC&T) to join a major oil & gas development project supporting the delivery of Network WellPads and Pipelines infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong engineer to take ownership of Instrument, Control & Telecom engineering activities in a large-scale EPC environment, working alongside multidisciplinary teams in an international setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all Instrument, Control & Telecom (IC&T) engineering activities for the package.
- Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, procurement, and quality teams.
- Support interface management with multiple project stakeholders.
- Participate in technical bid evaluations and vendor clarifications.
- Attend HAZOP, SIL and SIF workshops as required.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) when applicable.
- Manage design changes and ensure proper technical evaluation and communication.
- Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain compliance with HSE and project technical standards throughout execution.
- Drive continuous improvement and incorporate lessons learned into engineering activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Instrument/Control/Telecom engineering within the oil & gas sector.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a lead or senior engineering role on EPC projects.
- Strong knowledge of IC&T engineering practices and design management.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams on complex industrial projects.
- Professional Engineer certification is an advantage.
- Fluent in English.
- Arabic or Chinese language skills are a plus.
