Industrial Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Location: Gainesville, GA
Pay: $32–$40 per hour
Shift: 12-Hour Continental Night Shift (48 hours Week 1 / 36 hours Week 2)

The Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of industrial production equipment and facility systems. This role combines electrical and mechanical maintenance with preventative maintenance, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of industrial production equipment and facility systems. This role combines electrical and mechanical maintenance with preventative maintenance, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and startup of new machinery and production equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Assist with spare parts inventory management.
- Support facility maintenance including lighting, HVAC, sprinkler systems, and general building maintenance.
- Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, man-lifts and scissor lifts as required.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout maintenance and production areas.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Support training and mentoring of junior maintenance personnel when required.
- Degree, technical certification, or equivalent training in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, or a related discipline, or a minimum of 3 years' relevant industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with:
- PLC-controlled equipment
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- HVAC and chilled water systems
- Industrial automation equipment
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Proficient using electrical diagnostic equipment including multimeters, clamp meters, and other testing devices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a maintenance team.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Competitive hourly rate of $32–$40, depending on experience.
