We are seeking a ProductionScheduler/Allocations Coordinator for an ongoing contract based in Aberdeen.

This is a Control Room based role working 12 hour shifts 7 x Night Shift - Day Off - 7 Day Shifts = 20 days off.

Candidates will have a background in Hydrocarbon Allocations and a knowledge of the Sub Terminal Allocation, Commingling and Attribution agreement (STACA).

Based within the continuously manned United Kingdom Dispatching and Coordination Centre (UKDCC) Aberdeen

  • Monitoring the integrity and safety of all inter-field and some intra-field pipelines.
  • Optimising throughput to maximise company efficiency.
  • Daily dispatching of nominated sales gas to shippers.
  • Monitoring gas sales quality to National Grid gas infrastructure.
  • Co-ordination of shutdown and maintenance activities.
  • Initial contact for pipeline / medical emergencies
  • Co-ordination of Integrated Production, Transportation and Delivery infrastructures.
  • 4 Trunk line systems totalling 1600 km, linking 28 offshore and 8 onshore locations. UKDCC activities encompass some 150 gas / NGL sales / purchase / transportation / processing / disposal agreements.

MAIN DUTIES
  • Generate and issue Long Term and weekly forecasting for the STACA system. Preparation and issuing of daily dispatching reports, day ahead forecast for the SNS. Operating the STACA dispatching system including Energy Components and backup sheets. Delivery of the Solepit nominations through managing of the Direct Marketing (DM) process.
  • Execution of daily and monthly hydrocarbon allocation activities.
  • Prompt decisions and timely actions are essential to ensure financial penalties are not incurred.
  • Ensure that voice and data communications are maintained with installations. Where necessary initiate loss of communications procedures.
  • Communicate directly with partner assets and the third party operators.
  • Provide company marketing organisations with before the day and within the day gas availability.
  • Participate in Emergency Response exercises adhering to company procedures and Health and Safety Executive requirements.
  • Adhere to contractual time limitations and accuracy of information.
  • Ensure that any suspect pipeline conditions are investigated quickly and actioned as per emergency procedures.
  • Ensure compliance to relevant corporate manuals. Provide out of hours and occasional dayshift support to the Tanker Scheduling team. Delivery of manual reviews, audits, emergency exercises and engagements as per the UK System Operator Assurance Plan
