Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Human Factors Specialist, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Develop and support a Safety Culture Improvement Strategy and Plan.
Review observation data and incident reporting highlighting trends and remedy actions.
Support the Safety Coaches in the provision of support to all offshore operations.
Advocate compliance with regulatory health and safety requirements demonstrating robust leadership in all health and safety related campaigns and programs where identified.
Train, coach and mentor the Safety Coaches on identifying and addressing health and safety risks and providing guidance on mitigation measures.
Monitor and support continuous improvement of internal processes for the management of human reliability in safety critical tasks, including new equipment design, equipment failure risk assessments and safety critical procedures.
Lead and participate in incident investigations where appropriate. Review all investigations providing assurance of consistency regarding behavioural aspects and quality.

Relevant degree, equivalent or qualified by experience

Skills / Knowledge
Excellent communication, collaboration, influencing and presentation skills
Human Factors
Good working knowledge of UK & European HES legislation

Significant experience in an equivalent role in the oil and gas industry
Implementation/ Management of a Corporate Safety Culture program
