THE OPPORTUNITY – HUB SUPPORT MANAGER
The Hub Support Manager is responsible for coordinating and integrating support functions across the asset to enable safe, efficient, and reliable operations onshore and offshore. The role acts as the central point for planning, logistics, and materials coordination, ensuring alignment between operations, maintenance, engineering, and support teams.
The position provides leadership and governance of the planning function, ensuring that activities are prioritised, integrated, and executable across the hub. The role also owns logistics and materials coordination, ensuring timely availability of resources, equipment, and personnel to support operational delivery.
Drives operational excellence by removing barriers to execution, improving coordination across functions, and ensuring that plans are delivered efficiently. Through strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional leadership, the role ensures alignment of priorities, effective communication, and optimised performance across the asset.
Role is also required to provide reactive support and cover for core leadership roles across the asset i.e. OIM.

Duration: 2-year contract
Contract Type: PAYE
Day Rate: TBC - For your application to be progressed, please ensure you provide a PAYE day rate banding expectation. Please note that there is no travel and accommodation allowance provided.

Spirit Energy currently have a non-contractual hybrid working arrangement for all office-based workers. 4 days must be worked in the office with compulsory days being Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The fourth day worked in-office (either Monday or Friday) is of the worker’s choosing but should be in keeping with what is most efficient and effective for their team. The office is open 5 days a week for full time, in-office working if this is the contractor’s preference.
AND NOW FOR THE TECHNICAL BIT…
In role, you will be required to:
Hub Coordination & Integration
Act as central coordination point across onshore and offshore operations. Ensure alignment between operations, maintenance, engineering, and support functions. Enable integrated delivery across the hub.
Reactive Support & Recovery Leadership
Act as focal point for hub coordination during unplanned events and disruptions. Lead cross-functional response to recover production and operational performance. Align priorities, resources, and logistics to enable safe and efficient recovery.
Planning Function Leadership
Lead and govern the planning function (onshore and offshore planners). Ensure delivery of integrated 28D, 3M, and long-term plans. Drive planning quality, consistency, and execution readiness.
Logistics & Materials Management
Own logistics coordination across the hub. Ensure availability and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and personnel. Optimise supply chain and logistics performance.
Execution Readiness & Delivery Support
Ensure activities are fully prepared and ready for execution. Identify and remove barriers to delivery. Support efficient execution of operational and maintenance plans.
SIMOPS & Activity Coordination
Ensure effective coordination of simultaneous operations across the hub. Identify conflicts and constraints. Support safe and efficient execution of integrated activities.
Stakeholder & Interface Management
Interface with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Projects. Ensure clear communication of priorities, risks, and constraints. Align cross-functional delivery.
Operational Performance & Improvement
Drive improvements in planning, logistics, and coordination processes. Monitor performance metrics (e.g. plan compliance, logistics efficiency). Promote operational excellence.
Risk Management & Assurance
Ensure risks related to planning, logistics, and execution are identified and managed. Maintain visibility of operational risks. Support safe and compliant delivery
Support to Operations Leadership
Support Operations Manager and OIMs in delivering asset plans. Provide coordination and decision support across the hub. Enable efficient and aligned operations.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, we are looking for:
- Strong understanding of integrated planning and work management processes
- Experience with O&M, logistics, materials management, and supply chain coordination
- Knowledge of Control of Work (CoW) and SIMOPS management
- Familiarity with planning systems (e.g. SAP, Primavera)
- Understanding of offshore and onshore operations environments
- Data-driven performance monitoring and reporting
- Degree or equivalent experience in engineering, operations, or related discipline (preferred)
- Experience in oil & gas / energy sector operations
- Proven experience in planning, logistics, or operational coordination roles
- Experience working across onshore and offshore environments (desirable)
- Holds relevant competency and training tickets required i.e. OIM, BOSEIT
