Our client is currently recruiting for the position of HSEQ Manager based in Aberdeen

Key tasks:
Prepare Technical Queries (TQs) to request support when needed from the corporate OI departments to assist in performing the tasks that are listed below, noting that the TQs will provide a record of all support provided from the corporate OI resources including the manhours;
Perform briefings on OI purpose, principles and implementation to onshore and offshore personnel; Manage the achievement of HSE Focus Areas and KPI's;
Manage asset and/or regional OI rewards scheme;
Perform awareness sessions with onshore personnel on all subjects related to OI, utilising the OI Understanding material;
Perform Workforce Engagement sessions with onshore and offshore personnel;
Develop and maintain HSE induction material for onshore personnel, aligned with the corporate standard and suitable for the regional specifics;
As required, review Management of Change and Deviation Requests;
As part of the Management of Change process facilitate all necessary HAZID and ENVID reviews;
Perform HSE inductions for all new onshore personnel (permanent, temporary and long-term visitors);
Maintain an Asset Risk Register such that all hazards associated with the ongoing operations of the Assets are identified and the risks associated with these hazards are in control;
Identify the need for, and then facilitate, all Formal Safety Assessments and Operational Risk Assessments;
Facilitate the timely closure of all actions resulting from the risk assessments;
Participate in and support Level 2 and 3 investigations as required;
Facilitate timely close-out of corrective actions resulting from all incidents;
Review HSE Alerts and Lessons Learned distributed by corporate OI and the client taking action where necessary;
Monitor trends to seek measures to prevent incidents;
Develop and maintain the Asset Quality Management Plan aligned with the corporate standard;
Perform Quality Assurance activities as per the Asset Quality Management Plan;
Facilitate the timely closure of all actions resulting from the QA activities;
Maintain the Environmental Aspects and Impacts register aligned with the operating conditions of the asset;
Prepare reports according to the Environmental Aspects and Impacts register;
Develop and maintain an HSE Plan to describe the targets for the current period making sure that it is aligned with the OI Management System requirements;
Develop and maintain a Hydrocarbon Release Reduction Plan for each asset, and ensure that the plan is effectively implemented with all necessary corrective actions taken to reduce hydrocarbon releases to ALARP;
Ensure adequate Occupational Health provisions are in place;
Where required performs regular reviews of the Safety Case as per regulatory requirements and performs updates where necessary;
Communicate through the Asset Manager improvement suggestions to the corporate CI department;
Manage Assurance audits and perform Verification audits, both onshore and offshore, to ensure compliance with the OI Management System standards;
Facilitate timely close-out of corrective actions resulting from the Assurance and Verification audits;
Provide the necessary inputs to OI corporate reports that serve to demonstrate performance and compliance in relation to achieving the objectives of OI;
Acts as focal point and liaison for communication to all Regulatory bodies, maintaining Certification and ensuring Regulatory Compliance;
Perform activities to manage the demands of stakeholders such as the client and the regulator;
Maintain the Regulatory Compliance Register as current against the applicable regulations and the operating conditions of the Asset(s);
Through engagement and audit demonstrate that the risks of non-compliance against the regulations are acceptable;
Perform audits as required by Certification requirements, and close-out all resultant actions

Bachelor or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Technical, Marine or Process Engineering;
Formal qualifications in health and safety management;
Long relevant experience may replace formal qualifications.
Experience in the offshore FPSO industry;
Procedures and documentation development and review;
Internal and vendor pre qualification auditing.
