Position: HSE Training Officer

Position Info:

Work Location: Base Office (30 km away from the city centre)

Position Schedule: ASAP, 1 year renewable

Qualifications & Experience:


Education: Higher education

Work Experience: Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in Oil & Gas industry

Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent)

Other Skills/Certificates Required:

 Facilitation and Public Speaking techniques
 Up to date sector competence in their field/s of technical expertise and professional training qualification from a recognised certifying body.

Responsibilities:

 Organise and perform HSE training course and HSE Campaigns.
 Evaluate the effectiveness of training delivery to ensure continuous improvement.
 Plan internal HSE training programs and ensure training schedules are available.
 Implement HSE initiatives, campaigns, and associated tools to ensure maximum effectiveness and dissemination.
 Ensure HSE internal training matrixes are up to date and communicated to all relevant parties.
 Ensure HSE training materials are available and timely updated as per corporate / project requirements
 Timely update of HSE Campaign Plans.
 Ensures training is delivered in alignment with agreed training plans and learning outcomes.
 Structure training to accurately reflect learners needs in a range of training environments.
 Monitor HSE training statistics to ensure as minimum 80% of mandatory training delivered as required by training matrix.
 Take part in improvement of trainings materials / presentations / questionnaires.
 Take part in incident investigation as needed.
 Delivering training to the concerned departments regarding training plans, venues, attendees etc.
 Define / develop tools / method in order to monitor the effectiveness of the course delivered.
 Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the work place, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
 Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior.
