We are seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor with a strong background in civil construction to join a leading high voltage technology company in the Helsinki area. The role will focus on ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout the lifecycle of a major civil works project. Prior experience in data center construction is considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and implement HSE policies, procedures, and standards on-site in compliance with Finnish regulations.
  • Monitor civil works activities to ensure safe work practices and adherence to company and client requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Provide HSE training, guidance, and support to site teams and subcontractors.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, preparing accurate reports and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate HSE documentation and reporting in both Finnish and English.
  • Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, and construction teams to integrate safety into all stages of the project.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of HSE experience in civil construction works.
  • Solid knowledge of Finnish health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience in large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects; experience in data center construction is a strong plus.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills in both Finnish and English (written and spoken).
  • Proven ability to work in a multicultural and fast-paced project environment.
  • Relevant HSE certifications are an advantage.
