Position: HSE Risk Management Officer

Position Info:

Work Location: Base Office (30 km away from the city centre)

Position Schedule: ASAP, 1 year (renewable)

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Higher education

Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar position within Oil and gas industry

Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent)

Other Skills/Certificates Required:

 Knowledge of independent certification process, certification issued by third party certification body, rules and accreditation body;
 Knowledge of monitoring and reporting systems and techniques, KPI and HSE benchmark
 Knowledge of audit techniques and capability to conduct HSE / safety / environmental inspections in order to supervise the implementation of specific procedures on site;
 Knowledge of local HSE legislation and main technical rules with focus especially on safety issues as well as main important international standards on HSE management system;
 Good planning and organizational skills;
 Facilitation and public speaking techniques

Preferred certification:

- Process Safety / HAZOP / LOPA courses
- NEBOSH International General Certificate

Responsibilities:

 Provide necessary support to ensure that all design and construction activities carried out by Company are conducted in strict accordance with the Client HSE Requirements, Company HSE Standards, applicable local legislation, International Standards (ISO14001 and ISO 45001);
 Ability to independently analyse the engineering documentation and to be able to develop HSE Riks Management Study
 Assist the Project engineering and management teams in the Risk Management process (i.e. HAZOP, HAZID, HSE Risk Screening, Risk Assessment, etc.);
 Facilitate HSE Risk Management and Occupational Safety Risk Assessment
 Understanding of process safety, hazard & operability, quantitative risk assessment
 Understanding of SIMOPS process
 Document each HSE Risk Management Study
 Ability to perform Environmental Impact Identification Study
 Participate in HSE Audits, when necessary
 Provide necessary support to ensure that Project HSE plans and procedures are developed and implemented throughout the entire project life; Participate in pre-construction survey, identify safety criticalities and environmental sensitive areas and design mitigation measures;
 Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the work place, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements
 Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior
