- Bachelor’s degree in sciences, safety, health, environment, security, or engineering; OR
- NEBOSH National/International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, HSE related NVQ level 5, or British Safety Council Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in SHES within the Oil & Gas industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity or overseeing contractor/service/vendor personnel during offshore T&I works.
- Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.
- Knowledge of relevant SHES management systems and programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Advise the Offshore team on the EPC Contractor’s implementation of the Project Approved SHES Management System and report on performance.
- Implement the Project SHES Plans and ensure effective implementation of Contractors’ SHES Management System and Procedures during T&I activities.
- Verify implementation of the Project SHES Risk Management Program ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated for safe execution.
- Conduct HSE Audit and Verification Programs to ensure that risk controls and barriers are properly implemented across all activities.
- Analyze HSE Observation Program data to identify safe and at-risk behaviors and implement necessary safety improvements.
- Verify effectiveness of EPC Contractor’s HSE Training Program to ensure workforce competency and understanding of safe work practices.
- Coordinate with EPC Contractor Emergency Response Team to ensure proper implementation of the Emergency Response Plan.
- Ensure the EPC Contractor implements the Occupational Health Program with particular focus during potential Heat Stress periods.
- Advise and participate in incident investigations ensuring incidents and near misses are properly identified, recorded, and resolved.
- Analyze SHES leading and lagging indicator data to identify trends, determine valuable information, and recommend improvements.
