HSE Lead - Fabrication Yard - Major Capital Project

Great opportunity to work for an E&P Company as a HSE Lead - Fabrication Yard - Major Capital Project on a 12 month fixed term contract, overseeing the fabrication of the steel jacket for a major greenfield offshore project. 

This is a unique opportunity to work client side directly for an Operator, with an attractive expat package available for the right candidate. 

Purpose of position
  • Promoting HSE policies & practices, culture and objectives for the project
  • Verifying implementation and adhesion of Contractor with the requirements of the CONTRACT
  • HSE supervision of the activities at Site
  • Being “visible at Site” and “walking the talk” with HSE as a priority
  • Intervene where HSE deficiencies are identified and report.
  • Attend Project HSE meetings, training, and inspection as when invited to
  • Work closely with the rest of the project team on the assigned location
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Attend Supervisors HSE Briefing / TBTs
  • Conduct a site patrol to support HSE Supervision of Contractors & Subcontractors
  • Contribute in HOC observations and Actively involve personnel including CPY
  • Report to CPY on HSE issues daily .
  • Request CTR to provide the required HSE documentation..
  • PTW inspections/checks when required.
  • Attend Site HSE Weekly Meeting with CTR and ensure MOM consistency.
  • Attend Weekly HSE Awards and speech.
  • Lead Weekly HSE Tour with CTR, ensure required CPY personnel attendance.
  • Attend Internal Weekly HSE Meeting
  • Submit a weekly HSE report.
  • Arrange CPY Spot check of HSE Inductions conducted by CTR – on a weekly basis
  • Control HSE Incentive Scheme deployment on his site - weekly
  • Verify adequacy of HSE Communication posted on site - weekly
  • Review HSE Training Status - weekly
  • Verify required emergency drills have been conducted and report submitted – on weekly schedule
  • Participate randomly in some TBT to verify how it is being conducted
  • Update CPY PPE & HSE Equipment Inventory & raising request for replenishing as of when required.
  • Monthly HSE Committee Meeting
  • Support for the Monthly HSE Meetings with PLT
  • Monthly HSE Awards and speech
