Position: HSE Assurance Officer
Position Info:
Work Location: Base Office (30 km away from the city centre)
Position Schedule: ASAP, 1 year (renewable)
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Higher education
Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar position within Oil and gas industry
Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent)
Other Skills/Certificates Required:
Knowledge of independent certification process, certification issued by third party certification body, rules and accreditation body;
Knowledge of monitoring and reporting systems and techniques, KPI and HSE benchmark
Knowledge of audit techniques and capability to conduct HSE / safety / environmental inspections in order to supervise the implementation of specific procedures on site;
Knowledge of local HSE legislation and main technical rules with focus especially on safety issues as well as main important international standards on HSE management system;
Good planning and organizational skills;
Responsibilities:
Collaborate in developing the Company HSE Management System and compliance with the applicable legislation.
Collaborate in developing and managing the Company HSE Management System in accordance with applicable policies, standards and legislation, organizational assets and existing operating procedures;
Monitor the HSE Management System effectiveness;
Support the Procurement Process with reference to supplier and sub-contractor HSE qualification, selection and assessment;
Participate in/conduct HSE audits;
Follow the evolution of HSE Legislation and supply consultancy to line management;
Participate in site HSE inspections;
Follow up actions raised during the audits and inspections to ensure the correct closure with evidences;
Monitor and facilitate the application of HSE Management System ensuring that all processes are implemented on site as per procedures;
Assist in Incident Investigation and Reporting process;
Contribute to Company HSE external communication reports development;
Perform HSE statistical analysis and reports;
Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the work place, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior.
