We are seeking a seasoned Upstream HSE Advisor to join a major LNG development project team based in Paris. This key role will support the safe execution of offshore and onshore fabrication, construction, and installation activities for a globally significant gas infrastructure program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HSE support across all Upstream project activities (Drilling, EPCI, CPI), reporting directly to the Upstream HSE Manager.
- Assume leadership of the HSE scope in the absence of the HSE Manager, ensuring compliance, performance monitoring, and implementation of improvement initiatives.
- Oversee and contribute to HSE audits, hazard identification (HAZID), risk assessments, and incident investigations across multiple project locations.
- Monitor contractor HSE performance and ensure timely delivery of documentation, KPIs, reports, and compliance with project technical standards.
- Support coordination with project teams in Mozambique and Egypt, as well as vendors and offshore facilities.
- Contribute to training management, HSE reporting tools (e.g., Synergi, DiWinci), and the sharing of lessons learned (REX).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry with a strong background in HSE, particularly within large-scale EPCI contracts and offshore pipeline/SURF activities.
- Recognized HSE qualifications (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent).
- Proven ability to lead incident investigations, conduct audits, and drive safety performance across multinational teams.
- Solid experience working with international contractors and project stakeholders.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- University degree (engineering or science preferred).
- Valid BOSIET and OGUK Offshore Medical certificates.
- Paris-based residential role, with regular business travel to offshore sites and international vendor locations (Mozambique, Egypt, etc.).
